About Me (written in third person)

Cathy has a B.S. degree in Biology and an M.S. degree in Computer Information Systems. She has worked as a receptionist for a place that repaired equipment that car repair shops use, in a lab at a large blood bank, as an associate professor of English at a University in a provincial city in the former Soviet Union, and as an on-line customer service representative for a mutual fund company. The travel bug that bit her at the age of 14 when she went to Australia with her dad struck again with force several years ago and led her to join the Foreign Service. She has been with the State Department for the last six years, and is heading off to Iraq for the next year. She is very thankful for her wonderful husband, David, the five kids that they have between them, and her black dog, Pepper, who is wonderfully complex.
